A budget tells us what we can't afford, but it doesn't keep us from buying it. A business like an automobile, has to be driven, in order to get results. Business is never so healthy as when, like a chicken, it must do a certain amount of scratching around for what it gets. Business, more than any other occupation, is a continual dealing with the future; it is a continual calculation, an instinctive exercise in foresight. Business, that's easily defined - it's other people's money.
