The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead. The idea is to die young as late as possible. The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living. The words of a dead man are modified in the guts of the living. They tell us that suicide is the greatest piece of cowardice... that suicide is wrong; when it is quite obvious that there is nothing in the world to which every man has a more unassailable title than to his own life and person.
